How To Enable Cookies:
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x
- Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
- Click on the Privacy tab.
- In the settings pane, set the slider to the medium or lower
position.
- ...OR... In the same Privacy tab, click the edit button and
include PayPal.com in the allow cookies list.
- To add websites to the allow cookies list click the EDIT
button then...
- Type: paypal.com in the Address Of Website text box.
- Click the ALLOW button.
- Click OK.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x
- Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
- Click on the Security tab.
- Click Custom Level button.
- Scroll down to the Cookies section.
- To enable:
- Set "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer"
to Enable.
- Set "Allow per-session cookies" to Enable.
- Click OK.
Enable cookies in Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x
- Select the View menu.
- Select Internet Options.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Scroll down the list of options to Security (marked with a padlock
symbol). Beneath it, you'll see three options for cookies. Select either Prompt
before accepting cookies or Accept all cookies.
- Click OK.
Enable cookies in Netscape Communicator/ Navigator 4.x
- Select the Edit menu.
- Click Advanced--the word itself, not the "+" next to it.
- Select either the Accept all cookies check box or Accept only
cookies that get sent back to the originating server check box.
Note The Warn me check box may be checked or
unchecked.
- Click OK.
Enable cookies in Opera (most versions)
- Select the Preferences menu.
- Select Advanced.
- Under the logging section, select the Cookie Logging check box.
- Click OK.
AOL, WEB TV, or cable modem
If you're using AOL, WebTV, or a cable modem, try disabling your proxy if the
above doesn't work.
