Customized cat ornaments are available for $22.95 each. (We ship within the US only.)

The following customizations are available:

Your cats facial colors/markings, including eye color
The eye shape is often changed (our discretion) from the original ornament pattern to more closely resemble your cats features
Ear size (again, our discretion) and unique features like unusual folds or nips
Your cats name and/or date written on the bottom or back of the ornament
Napping, awake, or winking (one eye closed).

What we can not do...

We do not reproduce facial contours! Our ornaments are round!
We discourage people from sending in orders for all-black cats since the facial features (nose and mouth) may not produce the desired result for you. We will do them though if you wish.
We do not customize our pre-made $12.95 cats. No exceptions. Click here for the reason why.

A couple things to keep in mind...

Please remember that customized cats will be an artist interpretation mostly using fur patterns and color, not a duplicate of facial contours. We use the same basic stylized face/ear template that our standard ornaments have, but with some changes (usually to the eye shape, sometimes the ears) to reflect your cats features.

Because our monitors and printers will almost certainly not display colors the same as yours, please do not expect a perfect color match! We can only go by the photos we have in front of us. The ornament we produce will look just like the picture or pictures that we have. If the photos don't look like your cat, then neither will the ornament.

That said, we can usually capture a cats look pretty well. We just don't want anyone expecting a photo-realistic likeness! That's not what our ornaments are about. Instead we strive to capture the personality and feeling of your cats. People are always very pleased with them!

How To Order!

STEP 1: Obtain a good picture, or sets of pictures, clearly showing the subjects facial features. Close-ups of your cats face helps us a lot. We can only go by what your photos show us. If they are poor quality or have incorrect colors you may be disappointed be the results. If you see that the pictures you are sending have wildly different color casts, please help us by telling us which photo is the closest in color to your cat in normal lighting. Remember, we don't really know what your cat looks like in real life, so good photos are important!

STEP 2: Label the pictures or change their file names to the cats name. This is important so that we don't mix them up.

STEP 3: Reduce their file size! Unaltered digital photos from many modern cameras will be too big for us to receive easily. See "Compressing and e-mailing your photos" below for information on how to easily do this.

STEP 4: In your e-mail, tell us if you would like eyes open, eyes closed or one eye winking.

STEP 5: Include all relevant information about your cat, including...

Describe your cats eye color. Your camera flash can wash out the color making it very hard for us to accurately judge it.
Describe your cats fur color. (More red then brown, brown than red, etc.) Camera flash, daylight, incandescent and fluorescent light all produce different effects. On top of that, our monitors will almost certainly show colors slightly differently than yours!

STEP 6: In your e-mail, let us know what would you like written on the ornament? You could do...

Nothing
Your cats name
A date or range of dates
A very short saying of six words or less

STEP 7: Send your e-mail with attached photos to

STEP 8: Wait for our confirmation e-mail. This could take several days depending on our work load. If your order is accepted we will e-mail you an invoice requesting a payment of $22.95 for each cat through PayPal. Regular shipping charges will apply. We will contact you if your order is not workable with the reason why.

STEP: If your order is accepted, complete your payment through the PayPal invoice you receive. All orders must be paid for before we will begin work on them. We do not accept credit cards any other way except through PayPal.

STEP 10: Be patient. Please expect an extra two to three weeks from the time of payment for custom orders though they usually ship much faster than that. You will receive an e-mail when we ship your order

Compressing and e-mailing your photos...

Please send us photos in JPEG format (example: cat.jpg) only. Do not send bitmaps or raw files! (example: cat.bmp/cat.raw/cat.nef)

If you are uncertain about the picture sending process, we strongly recommend the free program called Picasa made available through Google. It is a free picture album viewer that will find and sort your photos for you. It can then easily e-mail the photos you select. It will automatically compress the photos for you when e-mailing. It is by far the most painless way to go if you have never compressed a photo before. We strongly recommend setting the pixel size to at least 800 in Picasa's options and preferably larger. This is located in Tools/Options/E-Mail menu within Picasa.

Or for more control (and a bit more difficulty) you could use a program like Image Optimizer. Image Optimizer will also allow you to easily crop your photos and add text to them if you need too. It's very easy to use and has a fully functional thirty day free trial. If using Image Optimizer please try to keep your photos under 1 megabyte each!
